It has been used by many cultures to create stunning pieces of art and jewellery, many of which still hold iconic status today. It is the versatility that has attracted artisans across the ages- the malleable properties make it an ideal metal for craftsmen to produce stunning pieces of jewellery and ornaments.   Our silversmith courses allow you the opportunity to learn some of the skills used and to create beautiful pieces of bespoke jewellery that you will be able to take home on the day. The items made depend on previous experience and the length of the course you book- as an example on a one day course you will be able to make and ring and a bangle and on a two day course a ring, bangle and a cabochon bezel set pendant.
Taster Session

| Come along and learn the basics of silversmithing including tools and techniques. Each student is able to create a handcrafted Sterling Silver ring to take home at the end of the session
| One Day Course

| You will learn about silver tools and techniques and craft a bespoke Sterling Silver ring and bangle
| Two Day Course
£200.00
| As One Day Course PLUS - Building on your skills from Day One you will be able to make a bezel pendant and depending on time available another piece where practicable
| Three Day Courses

| As One and Two Day Courses PLUS - With the confidence and skills learnt so far you will be able to make a piece of your choice (within the time restraints of the day) - this third day allows the student more freedom to develop their creativity and if desired work more independently but still with supervision.
| Groups

4x4 Hours
| Students who have attended at least the One Day Course can join one of the weekly groups which run as four hour sessions (currently Tuesday or alternate Saturdays). Materials not included.
